The Team

Kristen Leman (LCSW) has been involved with the foster care system in almost every capacity over the last 16 years. She started as a case-aid right out of college, moved full cycle to present day foster/adoptive parent. In between she worked as a caseworker until earning for Master's degree in Social Work in 2010, and then pursued her clinical career as post-adoption therapist, foster care therapist, and then agency clinical supervisor. Kristen and her husband, Adam, became licensed foster parents in 2015, experiencing the foster care system from an entirely different perspective. Kristen currently ownes her own private pracitice, specializing in trauma and attachment. Outside of work, Kristen enjoys watching her four kids in their extracurricular activities, and coming home at the end of the day to snuggle with her dog, Maggie.
