The Team

Emily has been a foster parent Since beginning of 2020. She has had honor to foster 11 children, and got her daughter, who came to her at a month old in 2024. Emily is a single foster parent and realized early in her foster care journey that it really does take a village to take care of kids, especially ones coming from hard places. She had a vision in 2020 to create a resource for people in the foster care community in the Peoria area. Almost a year later, she discovered Foster Village Inc. had an affiliate program. She submitted an application, and through a mutual friend that worked for Foster Village Inc. was connected to Cheriz and the rest is history.
