Help us restock our shelves in the Resource Closet by particpating in our Stocktober Team Challenge!!!
Stocktober is a fun, friendly competitition to donate new items of a certain type as a team. All items help us retock our shelves in our Resource Closet. Our Resource Closet packs and delivers welcome bags for youth affected by foster care. This is our third year doing Stocktober & can't wait to see the outcome this year!
How it Works:
- Team Leaders will receive an email confirmation after sign-up with information, team wishlist, etc.
- Teams collect new items of a certain type & either ship right from Amazon off their wishlist or shop local and drop off in either of our community donation bins (at Foster Village Peoria office inside University United Methodist Church or Flat Branch Home Loans on Willow knolls)
- Teams are encouraged to take photos while shopping or donating and share on social media to increase awarness. (Tag @Foster Village Peoria and use #Stocktober2024)
- Make sure all items donated have your "Team Name" on them. We keep track of what teams have donated.
- Team have chances to win prizes for the following: MVP (Most donated) Team, Team with best photo, and Most Creative Name.
